History
When I was five I was given a large cardboard box from a refrigerator. I made it into a house complete with hand drawn wallpaper and
a replica of my Mom's hoover made out of construction paper. The vacuum was in three layers; the cover, the individual tools, and the vacuum bag. When I was around 7 my dad gave me a scrap of wood and let me play with the jigsaw (it was the seventies). I always knew that making things would be my life.
Inspiration
My dream is to make by hand everything in my life. I sew pretty badly so unless I devote myself soon, clothes making won't be happening. That said, I am inspired by people who create whether they be visual artists, musicians, authors, woodworkers, toymakers, cooks, gardeners...
Sales
The work featured on my website is all for sale. Please contact me if you are interested in a specific item. The larger mixed media pieces and dollhouses are difficult and expensive to ship. Pick up in person is best however shipping can be arranged with insurance. As each piece is different in size and fairly delicate for shipping all costs for shipping will be payed for by the customer.
